    New Trustees Appointed
    National Museums Scotland is delighted that Bruce Minto, Miller McLean and Jamie Troughton have been appointed as new Trustees. The appointments have been made by Fiona Hislop, Minister for Culture and External Affairs, and are for a term of four years.

    Museum to Boost Economy
    National Museums Scotland will contribute nearly £3 to the Scottish economy for every £1 invested by the Scottish Government when the redeveloped National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh opens next summer, according to a new report published today.

    National Museums Scotland has appointed Beck Interiors Ltd to carry out the fit-out of galleries for the £46.4 million Royal Museum Project.
